  1. They don’t have male pundits who didn’t play premier league standard football the opinion of an ex league one player wouldn’t command respect and this is the problem women’s football is currently of an awful standard. Nobody questions the opinion of martina nataratlova on mens tennis for a reason she was as technically as good as her male counterparts and the same can not be said here

  2. Most fans have better football knowledge than half the pundits not even a joke, just cause they played the game dosent make them knowledgeable about it. Just means they get away with using tons of football cliches.

  3. Alex Scott is better than most of the fellas, but Karen Carney is awful, I think for most viewers it just depends on if they’re decent or not, the gender doesn’t matter

  4. In the United States, we have a number of idiots delivering Sports news and information who are Hall of Famers, getting paid millions to offer nothing to their audience other than their name or personality, so I don't know why England is crying over knowledgeable, experienced, former female player pundits who understand their sport and are offering their perspective.

  5. Ok listen not we don’t like sexism yes but saying things like “it’s not women’s football, it’s football – take that comparison away it’s ridiculous” and we’ve played at the elite level the top level and it’s the same as the men” (quoted slightly off and the end there but that was the jist of it) she’s not exactly right is she

  6. Every step of the way, every period throughout my life, there have been men who question whether women should be "allowed" to work in just about every field. When I was young there were very few women doctors or lawyers or [fill in the blank]. What's it feel like to be one of these jackasses who are perennially on the small-minded wrong side of history in these debates? Aren't they embarrassed to have so many daft opinions? I'm a man.

  7. Maybe they should ask the fans rather than forcing female commentators on us. I'm watching Chelsea v Everton at the moment and karen Carney is atrocious. She sounds like shes trying to replicate the stereotypical commentators.. which makes her sound amateurish. Its cringeworthy.

  8. 5;40 ask a league 2 player if he feels qualified enough to talk about the game he has played all his life, he may have even once played at a higher level. some of the well known female pundits are excellent and really know their stuff, and don't forget we have to like them for us to watch the TV just like the male stars, but some maybe shouldn't be there as they look lost and we dont know who they are and so cant relate.

  9. Complete & utter nonsense… Any male who thinks "yip it's sound" go ask your wife what she thinks about attacking wingbacks, or the diamond formation….then for dessert ask her what she thinks about playing deep in the hole.. Now go look in the mirror & realise it's utter nonsense. These woman couldn't get a game in a male Sunday league team & everyone knows it…bring back sensibility not box tickers
