The thing is; league titles can be won without "strikers" (as in high goal-scoring CFs), but need goalscorers and plenty of attacking threat from the wing (which City have; though to a slightly lesser extent than Liverpool imo) and offensive threat from midfield (which City have too). Mo Salah is not a centre forward; Bobby Firmino is– but he's false 9, not a traditional striker. City won the league without Aguero last season, if we are honest, and frankly Liverpool also won it in 19/20 without a "goal-scoring centre forward", and had over 95 points the season before with that same system… The question is whether players like Ferran Torres, Gabriel Jesus, Riyad Mahrez, etc. can produce the output needed; it doesn't necessarily matter what position they occupy on the pitch- whether their traditional CFs, or whether playing F9 with inverted wingers.
