  1. If anyone say it's not worth it then I would agree with them 1 million percent. Noone in the world is worthy over 1mil dollars or pounds or euros a week. This is the reality of modern sport nowdays. Every one is over paid for their talent. Unless they put a cap on players salary it's not gonna stop here. By the time mbappe contract gonna be up in 3yrs inflation gonna be 10times more and he will then get 3-5mil per week contract and near 300-500mil in signing on fee. They should put a cap that no footballer will earn more than 10-20k a week even that is too much. Normal ppl make 4-5k a month and 50-60k a yr minus the taxes and they work their ass off. Football players play 90mins match 1-3 times a week and few hrs of training every week.

  2. It's a bitter pill to swallow for a team that always get any player they want. Real and La liga feel humiliated but this is a great moment for football. Seems to me like the players are finally taking control.
Side note: Its scary to think @ some point la Liga had Xavi, Iniesta, Bale, Messi, and Ronaldo in the same league

  3. I agree that it's not right but Real Madrid are seriously butt hurt… Coming from the team that sells land and 'training grounds', given to them by Franco, back to the government for cash and that's supposed legitimate revenue..

  4. Craig is 100% right Look at Ronaldo moving on at 23 and all the other great players who moved young and became legends in the top 3 leagues. Mbappe will be TWENTY SIX PLAYING IN FRANCE (worst of the 5 eu leagues) = MIND BLOWING ?‍♂️

  5. Zero aspirations. They'll never win a CL. He can win all the farmers league trophies he likes, he'll never be considered the best player in the world.

  6. As much as I despise PSG… It's also pretty rich for La Liga to criticise them and talk about economic stability. For decades now, Real Madrid and Barca have played a MASSIVE part in driving up unsustainable wages.

  7. i read somewhere that Jurgen Klopp tired to sign a player from Europe and that player asked “how much money could i make in England?”. Klopp stopped negotiations right there and then. Footballers and sportspersons in general are now more interested in how much money they can make as opposed to the game and competition.

  8. La Liga complaining about the deal in case it undermines the economic stability of European football? Really? Give me a break. Madrid have been doing it for years.

  9. I’m glad Hibs are sticking with Kevin Nisbet and not going with Mbappe. I don’t think Mbappe could cope with the rigours of a Tuesday night in Dingwall.
