  1. Such a pleasant guy. Met him at an open training session when he was at Spurs. He was the only player to go around to everyone waiting outside and sign autographs and take photos while most other players signed a few and walked off.

  2. Bentley wasn't a bad player for Spurs, he actually played an important role for them during the 09/10 season when Aaron Lennon was injured and when Spurs finished in the top 4 for the first time. Unfortunately I think Spurs lack the kind of culture which allows players to enjoy themselves and suffice to say, David Bentley was a player who probably was at his best as a footballer when he was happy and enjoying himself.

  3. I'm a Rovers fan and that team then Bentley tugay savage pedersen Emerton friedel samba nelsen Mccarthy Santa cruz Roberts the Hughes years fantastic times and we always seemed to do well against utd as a bonus

  4. Coronavirus will put football back to where it belongs where the real characters and men will return and lack of money wont make the game as business orientated. We'll see whether footballers really love the game or if it was cos of the money

  5. I know I probably been living under a rock but I don't get why Barton quickly took back what he said about savage doing a Dutch accent. What's the controversy?
