No pro footballer would wear suck thing! It limits your movement and i don't think is even permited by rulles! The distance and speed of players is measured by many video cameras and computer soft!

Think how image-recognition software could change the future of FIFA, PES, Madden, NHL etc. You could just load in years worth of football matches and it could analyse players movement, speed, abilities etc.
Remember when I was first getting into Football Charlton were in the BPL. Were relegated that year and ain't been back since.
