Pep Guardiola has said that his Manchester City side are «in big trouble» after Kyle Walker and Kevin De Bruyne had to go off injured in last night’s Champions League quarter final.

City progressed through to the Champions League semi-finals thanks to a 0-0 second-leg draw at the Wanda Metropolitano – to go through 1-0 on aggregate – in a resolute defensive display despite chaos emerging at the end of the tie.

At the start of nine additional minutes of second-half stoppage time, both sets of players were involved in a mass scuffle after Felipe fouled Phil Foden near the byline. Stefan Savic tried to pick the injured Foden up off the floor, which caused the scuffle, while the ex-City defender was also seen trying to headbutt Raheem Sterling and pulled Jack Grealish’s hair.

  1. Pep always thinks he's Smart. He told his boys to act negatively in the match against athletico and so delay tactics. Foden wasn't fouled, he was trying to buy time. But nemesis will catch up with him soon

  2. Smart man. Pep knows the media will smite him with some "he said she said" even with or without an opinion to the questions that the reporters are asking.

  3. Maybe, with at least three injuries to key players. City are destined to lose this FA Cup semi final match, and win the Champions League battles with Real madrid …. although that semi final isn't too far away either!
