  1. Can Norwich city do Arsenal a favour let's wait and see but it's a 98% win for Tottenham Hotspur and just 2% for Norwich city so let's prepare for Europa league and perhaps top 4 next season

  2. Alan Smith is talking gibberish.Arsenal are guaranteed nothing next year, they have made no progress at all. Also with out CL football who will want to come.

  3. Nice to see a bit of perspective and balance when it comes to Arsenal. I'm so tired of Neville and Carragher's lazy, apocalyptic, doom mongering. I could've bet my house on Neville getting stuck into Xhaka but I agree with Alan, it needed to be said and the younger players need to understand that you can't drift in and out of games and in and out of form as they have. There are expectations that come with the huge salaries and they let themselves and the club they represent down. Having said that, they are young and will only improve. We are similar to Spurs in that we have a good first 11 when all fit but beyond that we rely on some players who aren't good enough for Southampton and Brentford, let alone Arsenal. The difference is Spurs' senior players have stayed fit this season, had they lost Kane or Son to injury there's no way they would be where they are. Injuries to Partey and Tierney have cost us badly and our two main strikers only scored eight between them. Progress is down to the board and Edu now, if they want to take Arsenal to the next level they're going to have to reach into their pockets.

  4. It's people like Alan Smith why Arsenal have such low standards now. How is the future bright? Two 8th place finishes and a 5th place finish when there was no Europe. It has been a complete failure the last 3 seasons considering how big a club Arsenal is. It is also shows that Arteta is clearly not good enough as manager to take this team forward. Its a shambles. Arteta and Kroenke out.

  5. XHAKA is one of Arsenal worse player over the past years so i don't see how he's saying that.. smh Arsenal is a big joke club right now for renewing Xhaka's contract ?? joke thing .. all man like holding gets new contract

  6. They will be in the same situation next year no progress, no aim, no goal, no agenda they have been progressively worse since 2006 just living off the “invincible” season I fell sorry for there fans , the emirates stadium seems to be cursed………………

  7. Alan I loved you as a player but every word that came out of your mouth was absolute nonsense. Th cherry on the top was saying that xhaka is a leader, he is the worst midfielder I've ever seen in an arsenal shirt and I'm 51.its a disaster of a season managef by a geezer who's out of his depth. The best bit of business we could do in the summer is replace arteta with Graham Potter

  8. The youngest team in the league missed out on the top 4 by 1 win. It's only bad in the context of them losing the last 2 games. In the bigger picture, everything is fine. Good youth, good wage structure, etc.

  9. Yet another ex-player looking for a job at the club and talking absolute rubbish trying to deflect attention away from the real culprits.
Smudger they haven’t played well defensively they have conceded more goals and lost more games than they did last season
Start saying it as it is not peddling the club’s PR BS

  10. Alan smith is deluded this season has been terrible with utd slipping up and Tottenham changing mangers. This is the best chance for champions league. Stop with the youngest team Arteta choose to bring in young players

  11. Man said appreciate what a good season it has been. What a joke statement is that we was 4 point clear with 3 games left. Xhaka is part of the problem
